Bare Minerals Foundation

With foundation, people think the more you put on the more you cover. This is the biggest myth in make-up. After years of not wearing make up because I did not want that make-up line, nor did I want to take a chisel or brillo pad to my face every night to get it off and most of all I did not want to be 40 something and look like I was a teenager with an acne problem. Bare Minerals proves that less is more and the days of heavy cakey make-up are over.
The first problem is knowing your skin type. You need to find the right type of foundation that best matches your skin type. Bare Minerals offers two different types of foundation finishes: ORIGINAL SPF 15 Foundation Original formula is clinically proven to improve your skin over time and buffs on beautifully with a natural luminous finish that never settles into fine lines or dries out skin. Natural light-diffusing ingredients create an unparalleled soft-focus effect to visually erase blemishes, lines and pores. The original Bare Minerals Foundation is perfect for those who have a normal to dry complexion. MATTE SPF 15 Foundation Matte formula absorbs excess oil and eliminates shine without drying skin for a flawless, natural matte finish all day. It’s enriched with our unique, proprietary 100% pure RareMinerals® ActiveSoilTM Complex, which minimizes pores and promotes cell turnover for fresher, smoother skin, while protecting skin from environmental damage. The matte Bare Minerals Foundation is perfect for those with oily complexions. The second problem with foundation is finding the right shade for your skin type. Luckily, for me my mother-in-law and I have the same skin tone so it was no issue when I decided to do my trial of Bare Minerals Foundation from her supply of the make-up. But for those who need assistance in finding the perfect shade the process is very simple with Bare Minerals Foundation. The key to finding the perfect color match is knowing your complexion. There are 6 shade families and 3 undertones. Once you determine what your shade and undertone the rest of the beauty regiment is easy. Although I will have to say that as long as you are within a shade or two of your actual shade of Bare Minerals Foundation the make-up is very forgiving and will not make you look as if you do not know how to pick out your make-up. This product will adjust to you and still make you look radiant. The color chart below will assist you in picking your perfect Bare Minerals Foundation. Here are the current colors:

bareMinerals has made a huge impact, a huge difference on my skin. bareMinerals makes my skin soft… Instead of like when I was using those heavy foundations and heavy creams…. the fine lines kind of showed through. And I just feel like bareMinerals makes me look younger and it just makes my skin look very glowy, luminous and I feel very confident.
